A classic ‘Ceylon’ character, of a pleasant mild astringency, bursting with a sweet floral bouquet and a vibrant copper cup. This is a wonderful tea the blend is based on FP leaf from Sri Lanka’s Dimbula region, it is harvested high up in the mountains above Colombo and is all natural free of any pesticide use.

Here at TeaCakes of Yorkshire, we insist the process of removing caffeine is done chemical free. Our teas are briefly soaked in exceptionally pure water and gently flushed with CO2, the CO2 binds to the caffeine molecules and removes them from the tea leaving behind all the natural proteins that give tea its flavour. It also leaves many of the polyphenols and antioxidants intact so it’s still great for you.

The best Tea ever, Just buy it

I've bought this tea a few times now and...its just great, the quality ,the taste is just excellent, and as for the company Tea Cakes of Yorkshire are brilliant their website is so easy to navigate and purchase items from, their range of products are top notch, and their delivery is excellent too, it always arrives on time and sometimes before the stated date, and best of all it arrives well packed and undamaged. I would highly recommend them.

Nearly as good as the real thing

Wonderful to have a nearly full-bodied tasty tea that is caffeine free. Excellent and fast delivery with an interesting free sample tea.

Decaf English Breakfast loose leaf

Leaf size is much finer than pictured on the website with a much dustier texture. Still a good flavour but leaves a fine powder at the bottom of the cup.

Decaffeinated English Breakfast

This tea is not just a breakfast tea in fact we drink strong coffee so tea tends to be an afternoon or evening drink. The flavour of this tea is very pleasant but you do need more tea in the pot to get a decent cup of tea. We started off with a smaller amount because I prefer weak tea. Delivery was fast.
However, it definitely is not cheap tea and because of the cost we probably won't buy again.
