Decaffeinated English Breakfast
A classic ‘Ceylon’ character, of a pleasant mild astringency, bursting with a sweet floral bouquet and a vibrant copper cup. This is a wonderful tea the blend is based on FP leaf from Sri Lanka’s Dimbula region, it is harvested high up in the mountains above Colombo and is all natural free of any pesticide use.
Here at TeaCakes of Yorkshire, we insist the process of removing caffeine is done chemical free. Our teas are briefly soaked in exceptionally pure water and gently flushed with CO2, the CO2 binds to the caffeine molecules and removes them from the tea leaving behind all the natural proteins that give tea its flavour. It also leaves many of the polyphenols and antioxidants intact so it’s still great for you.

Nothing but simple honest tea without the caffeine!
Have ordered several bags of this tea now. It's pretty good for loose leaf decaff, good bag size (500g) and delivered within a few days, even during Covid lockdown.
Simply the best, clean taste ever, without any nasty chemicals... lovely!
I'm not usually the biggest fan of breakfast tea but this is a really lovely blend.
I thought I'd try this, as I'd tried nearly all the other decaf tea bags from all the major brands and frankly they're all pretty much disgusting, but this is the best decaf tea I've tasted, and will carry on buying it as it is worth every penny, loose leaf tea is definitely the way to go, I'll never buy bags again.
