Wild Raspberry

"With mellow grassy undertones and
sweet raspberry notes, this is one of our most soothing greens."
Both green and black teas can be produced from the same bush. In green manufacture, the freshly plucked leaves are steamed
According to Japanese standards, the freshly plucked leaves are steamed prior to processing.
Next, the leaf is pan-fried - a process that gives the tea its distinctive glossy looks and feel, then expertly blended and flavoured.
Sencha is known for its dark green, needle shaped leaf and pale green, yellowish liquor. Like all green teas, Sencha is known to be
exceptionally high in antioxidants and polyphenols. As such, recent scientific research appears to indicate that it may have an impact in the
prevention of certain types of cancers.

We insist on using only natural flavouring oils, high-quality tea tastes good and natural flavours do not overpower the great taste of
the high-grade tea, also natural flavours leave no aftertaste giving the tea a clean and true character. (The practice for some making flavoured
tea is to use overpowering artificial flavours, which may be an indicator of a covered up lower quality tea).
Natural flavours tend to be more delicate and subtle, most find this a refreshing change and is one of the desired qualities of our naturally flavoured teas.

wonderfully refreshing tea that is an absolute must try for all Sencha lovers.
With mellow grassy undertones and sweet raspberry notes, this is one of our most soothing greens.

One of my favourite green teas I have tried so far, I am so sad that I accidently spilt half of my sample pack! The raspberry compliments the green tea perfectly giving a fruity aftertaste, perfect for the summer. Would definitely repurchase as it is very high quality.

♥ This is now the only green tea I drink, I even buy empty tea bags to fill so I can carry some with me always. ♥

Beautiful aroma!

I love the real raspberry flavour mingling with the gentle green tea flavour. Was given a sample of this tea with my order last time, and had to buy some!! Great service from TeaCakes!!

Super product and service

The tea is beautiful, amazing taste and smells delicious! I am also trying to reduce the amount of plastic I use and Teacakes we're more than happy to package my product without plastic.
Amazing product and amazing service
Can't fault

I've been drinking green tea for about 20 yrs, way before it became fashionable or deemed as healthy. I only drink green tea (4-6 mugs a day) or water/soft drinks, never normal tea or coffee. I've tried many different green teas over the years. Some were awful! This one is my absolute favourite, the flavour is amazing, been using these loose leaves for about a year now. I have a tea ball thingy so I can even take leaves with me now if we are away, at home though use a tea pot, messier than t. bags for sure but so worth it. Just bought a 1 kg bag (comes in 2 x 500g) which should keep me going for ages. TEACAKES sent me a small taster pack of mint tea with my order, haven't tried it yet but will do soon. Good to try different things but I know wild raspberry will be my favourite for a long long time!
