"Full and rich as any tea from Yorkshire should be."
We are so excited and pleased to bring you our own commissioned blend of four of the best leaf on the planet. We have tested hundreds of samples and variations before finally settling on this perfectly balanced tea. In partnership with one of our oldest established blenders and through many months of tea tastings we believe we have created the perfect cup of tea from Yorkshire.
We have selected a top quality leaf from Kenya's Rift Valley, in this tinderbox, the soils are rich in nutrients and minerals deposited from fires over the centuries, bringing a full malty note which gives a great dimension.
Nandi Highlands/Nilgiri & Assam/Yunnan Province
Teas from India typically grow in lush fertile conditions and have fruity refreshing characteristics, our two choices from legendary regions Nilgiri and Assam are no exception sharpening and adding an enhancing element to the malty notes.
Finally, just for good measure a premium leaf from the birthplace of tea, In Yunnan Province tea still grows wild in the rich red fertile soil, even when tamed, the bushes produce sturdy buds, thick, well-sized leaves which add a good fulfilling body to our blend.
To say we like tea in Yorkshire would be somewhat of an understatement it's more of a religion! visitors especially from overseas are somewhat staggered and amused in equal measures with how much tea is drunk by us Yorkshire folk.
We believe this blend has a richness of flavour that is unmatched by any other. Best with the smallest splash of milk gives a bright golden cup colour, a truly satisfying one of a kind traditional Yorkshire blend, just give it a go were sure you will love it as much as we do

This caddy sits with the teacakes own, and may days I prefer the decaf. full taste, decent price for a decaf, service always perfect, fast and well packed and the free samples mixed up and a good intro to different things. thankyou.
I use both the English breakfast organic and the English breakfast decaff, both are really excellent teas, I am very satisfied with the service
I love Teacakes of Yorkshire's own decaf blend (Kenyan) as it has a relatively strong flavour. The delivery has always been prompt and you can make a note to the person who is putting together the order which means I can opt out of having a free tea caddy (which I think you get if you order over a certain value of tea). I have plenty of tea caddies now! I am always very happy when I receive my order.
I've just bought my 2nd kilo of this tea. It still is the best decaff. tea I have tried and arrives very promptly and without overpackaging.
This is the third purchase from Teacakes for decaff tea. As usual the tea arrives very quickly, well packaged. This is a very fine tea - by fine I mean the size of the particles - however we've found that it does not distract from the flavour and the fact that it is fine allows my husband to use it on the garden when we are finished with the tea leaves. Very happy with the quality, service and price. We are still using up teabags at our caravan and can't wait for them to be finally gone - taste is so inferior to the loose tea!!! Thanks again to you Teacakes.
