Tea Caddy Black Tin Food Airtight Storage Spices

£9.95

TeaCakes of Yorkshire Matt Black Airseal Tea Caddy

As with all our products they must look good, be of the best quality, and work well, our tea caddies are no exception. Although all steps in the supply of good tea are important the one most single important and generally most overlooked is the storage in the consumer’s home.

We have tested many caddies for leakage of air and moisture over the years and sadly we have found although looking good most of the tin caddies with hinged, slip, or push top lids are woefully inadequate for the job, allowing constant seepage of air causing the contents to spoil far too quickly.

This caddy measures 14cm tall (just big enough for the special spoon to be kept in) and 8.7cm diameter holding approximately 150g of tea when full. As you pick it up, it feels sturdy and when you open it, and subsequently securely clip it closed again you hear a reassuring vacuum noise from the neoprene seal embedded in the lid.

It seems crazy to spend money on great tea. only to have it go stale quicker due to poor storage. We wanted to preserve the teas full taste and all the beneficial properties as long as possible, and in this caddy we have achieved that. You will notice the difference of freshness in your tea even after only a few weeks, with every spoonful absolutely as good as the first

Don’t take our word for it we offer a full refund if you are dissatisfied in anyway.

We love tea ! if you don’t buy this caddy perhaps think about how you could store your tea better.

Useful tea caddy

Arrived promptly (2 days after ordering) and is a good quality product. Easily holds a 250 gm packet of small-leaf black tea. The only reservation I have is the £1.99 added to the price for "taxes" although the original price was quoted as including VAT. I've never come across a 20% tax in addition to VAT on any other product bought from the Net.

Teacakes of Yorkshire

My body can no longer tolerate caffeine. Also, I’m an addict, so if I drink decaffeinated coffee I then drink caffeinated coffee, then consume masses of sweet stuff.
I’ve now discovered TeaCakes of Yorkshire’s CO2 decaffeinated teas - my god these people sell wonderfully flavoured teas. In addition they are thoroughly decent people.
I now have a drink in addition to water, and it doesn’t trigger any of my addictions. I’m drinking all their CO2 decaffeinated teas - they are all absolutely amazing.
I’m also really enjoying making them and perfecting them.
Their tea caddies also work - keep all the teas’ flavours
Wonderful company, wonderful people

Stylish Caddy.

Good quality and easy to open and close. It is too early for me to comment on how well it keeps the tea. If it works well I hope to get several.

Nice quality tins

I purchased two of these tins to store my Imperial Yunnan in and I’m very happy with them. Good quality and understated design which will work anywhere. I may well buy some more as they are nice in use, durable and well priced.

Retro Modern Look

I love these retro modern tea caddies. I already had a couple at home, but they work so well, that I invested in a couple more to enhance the look for my kitchen.
